How to Reach Panchavati Hills, Rangat Island
You have to take the entry from Port Blair to visit Rangat. To begin via any mode of transportation, the origin point will be Port Blair only. You can reach there via buses run by the private sector. Take the bus around 4:30 am or earlier and reach Rangat in nearly eight hours. The buses are available in air-conditioned and non air-conditioned segments. Non-AC ones are costlier than the government buses due to obvious reasons like comfort and seating arrangements. There is no facility for online booking. Since it has several pick-up points on the ATR, you need to enquire at the ticket counter for your nearest pick-up point.
Present in Rangat Island, Panchvati Hills are nearly 200 kilometers from Port Blair and are located in the middle Andaman region. One can reach there via public transport as it is connected to the capital city by a good road network. So you can take a bus or an auto rickshaw. Other ways to reach the spot are bikes and cabs.
If you want to reach Rangat from Havelock Island or Neil Island, then you will have to take a government ferry to Rangat Island from Havelock Island.
